Characteristics
Platform
- Epoxy coated steel tube frame.
- New design for headboard and footboard that improves matress retention, preventing its displacement. The fixing system to the structure allows detaching them easily without tools.
- Complete with supports for accessories (IV drip rod, lifting pole,etc. ) on each corner of the bed.
- Columns raising system for greater stability in any position and working load up to 250 kg. SGS certificated.
- Bed base with four independent HPL lying sections. Useful surace 100%.
- Adjustable side retainers that prevent displacement of mattresses of different sizes.
Comfort and design
- Four independent HDPE Medical side rails in accordance with standard rule EN 60601-2-52 with gas spring assist and one hand operation.
- Side rails include an innovative mechanism that requires minimal folding, no more than 7,5 cm.
- The design of the side rails allows protecting the patient in the totality of the lying surface. They have an integrated angle indicator, offering a greater control of visual angulations for backrest plane and trendelenburg/reverse trendelenburg positions.
- The bed is equipped with two points of blue led lights integrated in the side rail which are activated, together with an acoustic signal, when the side rail is lowered. These led lights flash as a safety signal when exit position is actuated, and help the patient orientation in the room.
- Automatic alarm of the backrest at 30º , both on up and down adjustment.
- “Help to stand up button”. It optimizes the sequence of patient’s exit from the bed by simply pressing the button integrated in the rail.
- Double automatic anti-decubitus regression system to allow a trunk plane regression (15 cm) and leg regression (7 cm). The double auto-regression system leaves a clear space for legs and gluteus up to 22 cm. By doing so, the double auto-regression system allows a protection against bedsore.
- Radiolucent lying platform with optional backrest cassette holder (Ref.CHV26) that allows the extraction of the tray without articulating the backrest.
- Integrated bed extension (± 32 cm) with sliding linen holder and nurse panel storing location.
Handling and system controls
- Sections, height and trendelenburg/reverse trendelenburg adjustment accomplished by low tension electric motors, complying with EN 60601-1.
- Automatic stop of the backrest to 30º to improve pulmonary ventilation.
- Independent foot angle from knee angle by mechanical activation of 5 positions providing a greater ergonomics.
- Cardiac chair position to provide a more comfortable patient stay.
- Exit position button, that easies the patient to leave the bed when lowering the height and feet section until its minimum position, remaining the back up to its maximum angle of 67º.
- Centralized braking system and steering facility. Double plastic covered anti-static castors Ø150 mm that allow a better mobility of the product when it is subjected to heavy loads. Control with pictograms for an easy use.
- Nurse control panel is much more than a simple bed supervisor functions and movements.
- It is a system that incorporates all the predetermined functions of bed movement that may require by the hospital nurse and health operators.

- Quick emergency release backrest dropping system in the event of electrical or battery back-up failure.
- Anti-trapping systems with automatic motor switch off in the event of detecting any obstacle.
- Height adjustment actuator fall-preventer in case of failure.
