Characteristics
Platform
- Epoxy-coated steel tube frame of 40 x 30 x 2 mm, with sections made of tube of 25 x 25 x 1,5 mm. High sturdy base made with tube of 50 x 30 x 2 mm, which allows to hold a maximum safe working load up to 250 kg.
- Easy detachable ABS Headboard and footboard, with fixing system without using tools, customized in different colors.
- Complete with supports for accessories. (IV drop, lifting pole, etc).
- 4 Hooks for diuresis bags on each side of the bed.
- Mattress retainers on both sides. They contribute to the correct positioning of the lying surface.

Handling
- For improved maneuverability, the bed four 125 mm diameter pivoting Tente castors, two with individual brake (OPTIONAL central brake).
- Specially designed height adjustment from 430 mm up to 730 mm by crank for effortless operation.
- Backrest and knee sections adjusted by two different 750 NW gas springs, and handled by mono lever with the possibility to activate it from both sides.
- Trendelemburg/ reverse trendelemburg adjusted manually by two different cranks differentiated by two different colors up to 12º.
- 5th wheel to allow an easy movement and turn the bed through narrow corridors effortlessly.
Comfort
- Mechanically operated independent footrest up to 5 positions, for optimum ergonomics, adjusted through any side.
- FOWLER position to make patient`s stay more comfortable (cardiology, asthma, etc). The FOWLER POSITION has a high importance for patients suffering from cardiac and respiratory problems, as this can increase their recovery process in a remarkable way.
- Low base HI polyurethane surface to protect the bed mechanism and facilitate and easy cleaning.
Safety
- Security distances among all sections joints and articulations in compliance with Directive CE 93/42/CE to prevent and avoid trapping accidents.
- 4 protective bumpers wheels of Ø100 mm, placed at each side corner, to protect the bed while transportation.
- Epoxy coated steel side rails (optional ABS side rails) with security system according to EN 60-601-2-52 standard, covering above 80 % of the total length of the bed. Frontal handle made in non corrosive nylon/fiber with handle for easier adjustment.
